Two more down

This weekend started out being something of a bore, but ended up not to bad. I was supposed to bowl, but due to my current child situation...didn't. I did go to the bowling alley to see everyone! It was a good time while I was there. I missed everyone. I would have stayed longer, but didn't feel like just watching. If I'm out there, I want to be bowling!!!!
Instead I had a spontaneous date on Fri night. Actually, we didn't go anywhere, the gentleman just came over and we sat on my glider. We talked for about an hour and half. He just happened to be going through town actually, and stopped for a "minute". The guy was very nice and time passed quickly. We had plenty to talk about and laughed a lot. I don't think I was his vision of loveliness though, so I'm sure I will not be hearing from/seeing him again. Two words describe him adorable and shallow. Ok....that was 3....lol.
Sat night I ended up having another date. This one we went out to dinner. This "date" was a bit more interesting. I had a good time, but at the same time was glad when it was over. He was very nice, and we had a good conversation, yet there was a lot missing. I'm sure he won't be calling again either. Oh well! I think I'm only "attracted" to a couple guys and they're not going to be available at this point. Don't know if they ever will, but they're good guys and good friends. Would rather have them as friends then nothing!!
The rest of the weekend was spent doing the all important laundry. Preston spent the weekend with a friend. It was a nice break for both of us I think. He seemed to enjoy time with his friend, so that's a good thing. This is kinda a new friendship, so we can hope it works out. Seems to be a good thing so far. I know the parents, so that is very helpful! Hopefully this week will go well for both of us. He has a game this week, so hopefully they will win!
