Hot Summer Days

Not having a working computer at the moment really bites!! I've been trying to not be in the sun to much since I'm not supposed to be anyway. I had wanted to put my pool up this summer, but looks like that's not going to happen now. My back is better, which is good, cause Preston broke two bones in his foot a couple weeks ago! He did it while at the pool. Jumped in and I guess hit the side of the cement wall. He's doing pretty well overall. He's in a "boot" so at least he can take it off to shower and sleep. He's NOT happy about not being able to go swimming or do all the other things 13 yr old boys do! In other news, I'm still looking for a job. Been on a few (I thought) promising interviews, only to find I didn't get the jobs. I think I'm finally taking my mom's advice and just enjoying my time with Preston this summer. I've been trying to think of things to do with him, but it's hard with little money. I'm so blessed he's such a good kid though and just "goes with the flow". I'm going to try and take he and a couple friends to Wichita when he can not be in his boot. He had wanted to go over for his birthday, but we didn't get the chance to. Other than that, I guess I can't complain to much. Nothing much has been going on, but I'm not being stressed like I was. Still on the blood pressure meds the doctor put me on. Don't know how long that journey is going to be. Preston and I did go see the movie "Cars" the other night. It was really pretty cute!
