Back Among The Living
I realized the other night that I hadn't blogged in over a month. I've thought about it believe me, but obviously never did. The past month has brought sadness and healing. First of all, my Grandmother DeWeese passed away April 9. It was somewhat of a sudden thing, at least to me. She had been having some health problems and had recently had a stroke. After the stroke, she just never recovered. Grandma DeWeese was a sweet, wonderful woman and I miss her dearly. It has taken several weeks for the sadness to lesson. Still I really miss her and will for such a long time. It has been so hard losing both grandmothers in a span of 6 months! My depression resurfaced to a degree. After grandma's passing things just didn't seem to important to me. Somehow, time does heal and with each day I am doing better.
In happier news, my parents and I just got home last night from being in Joplin. My cousin graduated from college, so we went to see her. I am so proud of her!! The weekend was a wonderful one! After getting to see Kristal graduate, we went to Branson and watched the Dixie Stampede. That was such a cool experience!! I really had a great time! We also spent time at Silver Dollar City watching a couple of shows there. The dancing that we saw was amazing! I would fall flat on my face or brake my face trying to do what those dancers did! I have enjoyed some great times with my aunt, uncle, and cousin over the last several months!!
